*Prof. Shrihari T. G.
Endorphins are endogenous morphine, neuropeptides produced in pituitary gland, response to stress and pain. There are three types of endorphins beta endorphins, enkephalins, and dynorphins binds to mu, kappa, and delta receptors situated on nervous system and immune cells.
