ABSTRACT
Nowadays researchers are working on the existing drugs to improve their efficiencyby the means of the different dosage forms. They are working on different noveldrug delivery systems for this purpose. Reduced frequency of administration, andself medication is possible. Since ancient time, skin is used by humans to applydifferent types of substances for the intention of therapeutic effect. Repaglinidebelong to meglitinide class and lowers the blood sugar level. It stimulate the releaseof insulin from pancreas. The goal of the study was to develop TDDS ofRepaglinide with the use of different polymers in different ratio. Twelvetransdermal patches formulations were developed and studied on variousparameters like wt uniformity, folding endurance, moisture content, in-vitro release, stability studies. Study concludes successful delivery of Repaglinide by the meansof transdermal patches.
